Pastoral Ministry
Senior Pastor: Roger L Tabani-Ndosimau In the Old and New Testaments, the word used for pastor is shepherd. Ephesians 4:11 and 1 Peter 5:2, call the pastor, "The Shepherd of the flock" and Jesus provides us with our role model, Himself called The Chief Shepherd. The work of the pastor is "to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." (Eph. 4:12-13) The role of the Pastor is to look after and minister to the whole person; spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, socially and financially so that there’s nothing missing and nothing broken. We believe that every person is important, both to the Lord and to the church family, from the youngest to the oldest. We aim to treat everyone with equal respect and dignity no matter what their social class or status, education, race, background or colour. In order to achieve this we actively encourage care for one another. We do not wait for a crisis to have a conversation! We develop relationships because we understand that we can all be a blessing to someone else. |
